The school

An oversubscribed 11-18 comprehensive school with a large sixth form is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within their DT department.  The school is an Ofsted rated “Good” School and believes in educating its pupils to understand the wold and therefore make a positive impact.  The school boasts of its broad curriculum which offers a wide range of options within design & technology.  With its newly refurbished building this school provides a clean and relaxing working environment for both its staff and students.  The ideal candidate will be working within their Design & Technology department which is well-equipped to support student work.

The role

The school is seeking to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant (TA) or Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their evolving Design and Technology Department.  The role will involve supporting teachers in the classroom. The ideal candidate would be organised, have previous school experience with a keen interest in Design and Technology.

The school believe in developing their staff and have a dynamic and supportive management team with an effective Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme.
