The school

An oversubscribed 11-18 comprehensive school with a large sixth form is looking for an Art, Design & Technology Teacher to work within their Art and Design department.  The school is an Ofsted rated “Good” and believes in educating its pupils to understand the world and therefore make a positive impact.  The school boasts of its broad curriculum, which offers a wide range of options within Art and Design.  With its newly refurbished building this school provides a clean and relaxing working environment for both its staff and students.  The ideal candidate will be working within their Art and Design department, which is well equipped to support student work.

The role

The school is seeking to recruit an experienced Art, Design and Technology Teacher to join their evolving Art and Design Department. The ideal candidate would be organised, have previous school experience with a keen interest in Art, Design and Technology.

The role is part time working three days a week- Wednesday, Thursday and Friday teaching KS3 from September.

The school believe in developing their staff and have a dynamic and supportive management team with an effective Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme.
