Working With Candidates

How We Support You

Our service to our candidates is friendly and supportive, designed to help you through the placement process, and throughout your placement. But we try to go much further than this.

At First Class Education, we work hard to give our teachers the best possible chance of succeeding every time they enter a classroom.  This typically includes as much background information as possible on the school including Ofsted reports, relevant curriculum information and so on and so forth.  We also encourage our schools to be as generous with their own information about specific classes and any particular issues of which we should be aware.  We are also establishing a “buddy” system in our schools to break down the isolation that a supply teacher can experience.  Supply teachers are an essential part of school life and you might meet typically 5 classes of up to 30 in a day, and we will help you ensure that every class will be a great experience for teachers and learners.

The types of jobs that we offer our teaching candidates range from long to short term teaching positions across early years, primary and secondary stages.

Our Process

We ask that first of all you register with us, before speaking to one of our consultants. Once this stage has been completed you will be invited to our main office to meet with us. This will include an interview with your personal consultant to get a better understanding of what type of teaching role you are looking for. You will need to bring in original documents for our vetting checks, and so we can set up your file with First Class Education. Once your file has been cleared by the agency’s Compliance Team, you will receive a call from your consultant who will then get you out to work!
